Why is there the need for preconception care?

Preconception care can treat; infertility, create a healthy baby, prevent miscarriages, still births & congenital defects.

Preconception care for both the female and male is important and should be done 4/6 months before trying to conceive because of the time taken for eggs to mature and sperm to generate. You also need to address any areas of concern in both potential parents so that you start with normal, strong sperm and an embryo that can implant and develop under optimum conditions in a healthy uterus, with no danger of damage from nutritional deficiency, toxins or disease.
